School Trips & Education

We have a range of options for school groups, including our harbour trips and reduced-hour weekday private charters. In addition, as an ex-primary school teacher, I am happy to develop/teach an educational programme for the school, based around fishing, boating and/or marine life. Cost per programme is variable.

• The minimum age for children is 4 years old. All children are required to wear a life jacket, which is supplied on board.
• Our harbour fishing trips are open to anyone, but the trips are primarily targeted at families. 
• Harbour trips are a great way to experience fishing from a boat and to test your sea legs without going out to the open ocean. 
• The primary catch in the harbour will be kahawai. 
• Our crew are very hands-on with the kids, assisting them with the fishing. 
• When weather conditions allow, the kids are allowed to play skipper and steer the boat on our way back to the marina.
