Touchwood Fishing Charters operates out of Gisborne, fishing the plentiful waters of Tairawhiti onboard our 12.5 Pelin Columbian Sportsfisher.
Charters are available 7 days a week ranging from 4 to 10 hours, harbour, in close and up to 12nm off the shoreline. We offer both private and public (Jump Aboard’s) trips. Our skippers specialise in local knowledge finding you a catch to boast about. Our crew can help junior’s through to intermediate & advanced angler’s.
We provide all the fishing gear, bait, ice, tea and coffee. We will bait your hooks, take the fish off and fillet and skin all the fish caught. All you need to bring is yourself and your lunch.
There is the potential of sighting 3 varieties of Albatross and up to 9 varieties of Mollymawk.
Ideal for a family group, work trip or a great way to spend a few hours with the mates.
A great way to shoot out to one of our many fishing spots within an hour of port when you just have that itch to fish.
We have a range of options for school groups, including our harbour trips and reduced hour weekday private charters.
Our Harbour Trips are run during the school holidays at the beginning of each week and one Sunday a month during the school term.
